There may be exceptions on duration of use when the medication is applied to the face, infected or broken skin, or to the underarms, groin, or skin folds. A limited duration is common among very young patients, and should be adhered to---DesOwen Cream can cause permanent side effects for young patients.

Treatment can be repeated in the future if needed.

Possible Side Effects

Most patients experience only mild side effects at the application site from DesOwen Cream. These include:

• Stinging
• Burning
• Dry skin
• Redness
• Other mild irritation

The above are not cause for concern unless severe or persistant; in the majority of cases they're mild and stop occurring within the first 30 minutes of application.

Some side effects are more serious, however, and do warrant medical attention when noticed:

• Skin thinning
• Skin discoloration
• Excessive hair growth
• Pimples or folliculitis
• New or worsening infection
• Eye pain or vision changes
• Dizziness
• Excessive tiredness or sleepiness
• Mood changes

If buying DesOwen Cream for use in children, it is important to get doctor instructions and abide by them. It is also important to attend all scheduled checkups so doctors can monitor for developing side effects, some of which can be permanent.
